Community Montessori Columbus is located at 5400 Karl Rd. Columbus, OH 43229. Based in the heart of Forest Park, we share a property line with North YMCA and are just a few doors down from the Karl Road Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. We are also just a few minutes drive from the OH-161/Dublin Granville Rd. Exit of I-71. Our location is both accessible and welcoming to a diverse group of families from across north and east side Columbus neighborhoods: Northland; Linden; Clintonville; Worthington; Polaris; Westerville; New Albany; and Gahanna.

In 2019, we reconfigured and renovated a significant portion of our building at 5400 Karl Rd. to create:

Two beautiful, light-filled Children's Houses (classrooms) with child-accessible water sources and dedicated restrooms.
A fenced, natural outdoor play area measuring approximately 15,000 square feet, directly accessible from the building.
A large hall for community events and indoor gross motor play during inclement weather.
A full commercial kitchen for event hosting, meal catering, and dish washing.

In September 2022, CMC purchased 5400 Karl Rd. from its original owners, Karl Road Christian Church. We continue to share the sanctuary space in the northern part of the building with three Christian congregations—including Karl Road Christian Church—as well as a local AA group. Our vision is to one day renovate and/or build space on our property to offer Montessori education and childcare to families of children from 12 weeks to 12 years of age!
